Manchester University Track & Field Day Camp

Are you a Track & Field athlete who wants to take your skills to the next level? At Manchester University’s Track & Field Camp, coaches will offer specialized, one-on-one instruction in throwing, sprinting and jumping. Get the latest training, technique and tips on how to improve your:

Register Online

When registering, parents must download forms for emergency contact and liability and photo release. Signed forms should be turned in during check-in on camp day.

Boys & Girls: Grades 6-12
Camp Dates: June 24, July 8 or July 22
Location: Manchester University’s Track and Field Complex

Camp Schedule

12:30 – 1 p.m. Registration and Check-in (Manchester University’s Outdoor Track and Field Complex)
1 – 2:30 Event Session I
  • Shot Put, Javelin
  • Sprints, Relays
2:30 – 3:30 Lecture (snacks)
  • Strength training for speed and power
  • Technical analysis
3:30 – 5 Event Session II
  • Discus, Hammer
  • High jump, Long jump
5 – 5:30 Clinic closing remarks and parent pick-up
5:30 – 6 College coaches question and answer session (optional)

Camp Coaches

Brian Cashdollar

Brian Cashdollar is the director of cross country and track and field at Manchester University. Formerly, as head coach of these two programs, he was honored as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference’s Coach of the Year a combined 11 times to go with a total of 11 conference championships. His teams have garnered a reputation for not only athletic, but academic excellence.

Kaylea Jancho

In her first year on the MU men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field coaching staff, Kaylea Jancho was part of two Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference team championships, while her student-athletes set a host of individual records. A 2015 graduate of Ashland University, she worked previously as a fitness instructor and personal trainer at Strauss-Peabody Aquatic and Fitness Center in North Manchester.
