Spartan Shorts: The Spartans (0-4) have faced top-notch competition to date, playing the No. 3 (Calvin) and 6 ranked (Mount Union) squads on the current Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III top 25 as well as Olivet College of Michigan from the always-tough Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association and Muskingum University of Ohio from the perennially-strong Ohio Athletic Conference.
