Freshman guard Katie Arterburn (Indianapolis, Ind.) is just below double digits in scoring (9.3 ppg), while sophomore forward Abby Lang (Indianapolis, Ind.) is close behind Meiklejohn in rebounding (4.7 rpg). … Other leaders for the Black and Gold include freshman guard Hannah Field (Fort Wayne, Ind.) (21 assists), Arterburn (18 steals) and Lang (eight blocked shots). … Arterburn has a string of nine straight games having garnered at least one steal. She's recorded multiple steals six times this season. … Lang and Meiklejohn have been consistent cleaning off the glass to date. Meiklejohn has registered seven contests with four-or-more rebounds, while Lang has done so six times. … Looking further into the statistics, Field has dished out multiple assists in five of Manchester University's nine games, while Lang has reeled off a set of three successive outings with a blocked shot twice this year.

Busy January Begins: Manchester returns to league play with a 7:30 p.m. tip-off at Anderson University Wednesday, Jan. 2. The clash with the Ravens opens a stretch of nine games during the first month of 2013.
