Collegiate career wraps up with nationals' top 20

GENEVA, OHIO – Senior distance standout Mariah Jordan, a native of Fort Wayne, Ind., concluded her Manchester University career in the 10,000 meters at the 2017 NCAA Division III Championships Thursday, May 25. The combined 17-time Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field champion placed 19th in the 22-runner field, clocking a 37:27.35 in rain soaked conditions on the track at The Spire Institute.

She concludes her running career for the Spartans as a combined seven-time cross country and track and field all-United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association all-Great Lakes region honoree and a combined four-time cross country and track and field national qualifier. Manchester University's competition at the 2017 national championships continues Saturday, May 27, as senior thrower Shay Aator of West Lafayette, Ind., competes in the hammer throw at 10:30 a.m.
